Sourcy was officially incorporated in mid-July. Two months later, our first full-time hire came on board. We have grown from a one-person band to a soccer 7s team with 5 different nationalities over the past three months.


The latest additions to our team include Chelsie, a high-energy tech geek carrying with her a diverse set of experience at Grab and Lazada, and Kitty, an artistic cultural curator who used to oversee the eCommerce platform of Tate Gallery. Chelsie and Kitty added a strong dose of experience, creativity, and wisdom to our young, energetic, bright and forward-thinking team.

We officially launched Sourcy's online web, iOS, and Android platforms on 25 Oct. I am proud to share that 2,295 unique users have now used our on-demand sourcing service, experienced our customized curations, and enjoyed the support by our customer success agents. Our customers’ diversity tops even that of our own team members. We have a user base across Asia, Africa and the Americas - with India, Indonesia, The Philippines and Kenya being our top 4 markets.

We have now developed a catalog of close to 2,983 SKUs across 30+ categories, provided by 310 unique suppliers from across the globe.

Our social media platforms were set up relatively recently, in mid-November. In just 30 days, the contents our marketing team put together have attracted over 300 aspiring entrepreneurs. We had a lot of inspiring conversations with small business owners from various parts of the world through our social channels.


Thanks to the power of social media, we have been helping many shop owners source on-trend or niche products at the best price and through the best logistics solutions. Our sourcing specialists work diligently on expanding our collections and providing timely service to customers worldwide.

From 2021 to 2022


2021 has been an adventurous year to turn a single vision into action. Looking back, I am grateful for all the trust from our users and investors as well as support from my team, family, friends, and beyond. But as fruitful and rewarding as 2021 has been, our team cannot wait to take on more challenges in the year 2022. Starting a business is hard, and scaling it will not be any easier. The Sourcy team will never stop challenging ourselves, iterating our business models, and refining our strategies in the new year. But one thing will always stay constant: we will stay focused and gritty until we achieve our goal to build the best international platform for small businesses around the world to source products, trends, and growth.
